The story follows Ah Can, played by Bill Tung, who travels from mainland China to Hong Kong to attend to the affairs of his recently deceased father, Fang Damao, a character also portrayed by Tung. While in Hong Kong, Ah Can is drawn into a whirlwind of events involving his gambling cousin.
